PixelDrive is a four-student team from Ahmedabad competing in STEM Racing India Season 8. We design and manufacture a CO₂-powered miniature F1 car to race on a 20-metre straight track, engineered for sub-1 second.

WHAT IS
STEM RACING?

STEM Racing India is a national student engineering competition where school teams design, manufacture, and race a CO₂-powered miniature F1 car down a 20-metre straight track. It's science, technology, engineering, and mathematics compressed into a 1-second sprint.

Modelled on the global F1 in Schools programme, it challenges students to behave like real F1 teams: research, prototype, optimise, sponsor, and present, all while racing for the fastest time.

AERODRIVE

In the high-stakes environment of F1 in Schools, understanding airflow is the key to minimizing lap times. We developed AeroDrive, a bespoke computational dashboard that transforms complex wind tunnel and CFD data into actionable engineering insights.

By inputting variables such as drag coefficient (Cd), lift coefficient (Cl), frontal area, air density, and target velocity, AeroDrive instantly computes critical performance metrics including drag force, downforce, power loss, and the crucial Lift-to-Drag (L/D) ratio.

Performance Matrix

Includes a comprehensive coefficient table with automated efficiency ratings and drag/downforce composition breakdowns.

Dynamic Speed Sweeps
